Where can I buy tickets to the Acropolis and how much do they cost?
Visiting the Acropolis is an amazing experience β but make sure you get your tickets first!
πΆ Ticket Prices
- π’ Full Price: β¬30
- π‘ Reduced Price: β¬15 (for people who qualify β see below)
ποΈ These prices are for a single-use ticket to enter the Acropolis and its Slopes.
ποΈ Seasonal Discount
From November 1 to March 31 every year, everyone gets a reduced price on single-use tickets for all state-run archaeological sites and museums.
That means:
- π° Full ticket becomes β¬15
- β No need to prove anything β the discount is automatic during this time.
π Where to Buy Tickets
You can buy tickets in two ways:
1. π§Ύ At the Site
You can buy your ticket at the ticket offices near the Acropolis entrance. But during busy days, there might be long lines.
2. π» Online (Fast and Easy!)
Buy tickets in advance through the official website of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports:

You can visit the Acropolis for free on these special days:

- π The last weekend of September β European Heritage Days
- π 28 October β Ohi Day (Greek national holiday)
π§ Who Gets Free or Reduced Tickets?
Some people can enter for free or get a discounted ticket, such as:

- πΆ Children under 5
- π§ Seniors over 65 (EU citizens)
- βΏ Visitors with disabilities (and one companion)
